Abstract：The historical process of soil and water conservation in Taiwan, professional administration and organizational frameworks of soil and water conservation bureau, faculties and curriculum distributions related to department and research institute of soil and water conservation, to set up the doctoral program of disastrous prevention and water resources engineering, and integrated the professional multidiscipline and cooperation with industries, to promote the real benefits and offer advance contributions among the industry, government, and universities were introduced.
