Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Focusing on the process of archival data quality governance, the paper explores the methods and models of archival data quality governance to enrich the connotation of archival data quality governance.【Method/process】Based on the PDCA model, the paper analyzes the process of archival data quality governance from four aspects: plan, execution, inspection and improvement, and then forms the path of archival data quality governance【. Result/conclusion】The PDCA model provides a new path for the governance of archive data quality, improves the quality of archive data through the whole process governance and circular gov⁃ ernance, and realizes the good governance of archive data quality【. Innovation/limitation】The paper proposes a governance model for archival data quality, which can guide the practice of archival data quality governance，and the empirical analysis of archival data qual⁃ ity governance based on PDCA model can be further strengthened.
