| Status and countermeasures of higher education of soil and water conservation in China |

Abstract Considering current status and problems of higher education in soil and water conservation of international and domestic,and in order to accelerate the development of higher education in soil and water conservation,some countermeasures,such as establishment of a "training center for soil and water conservation education of the Ministry of Water Resource," foundation under the categories of agriculture at the national first level discipline,building of the faculty development,establishment of a base(park,outdoor classrooms) of long-term stability in the teaching,research and production,strengthening vocational and technical education were put forward.
