Abstract According to the characteristics of soil and water losses,status of soil and water conservation,and the underslanding of eco-restoration,this paper presented the concept of eco-restoration,and the idea,method,principle,object of ecorestoration and so on.Based on analysis of driving and influencing factors of degeneration and soil erosion,five degeneration types of ecosystem was presented.Further more;the countermeasures for different degeneration types of ecosystem were put forward.
