Abstract Based on the physical mechanism of evaportranspiration, this paper analyzed main factors affecting slope e-vaportranspiration in loess gully area of Western Shanxi province; put forward evaportranspiration models of slope soil in the condition of unsaturated soil moisture. It is shown that the slope gradient, aspect, soil moisture, maximum temperature , vegetation coverage are the major factors affecting slope evaportranspiration. The models may be used well in precise computing ecological water requirement and guiding of soil and water conservation in small watershed.
