Abstract：There is 38 235 km2 land resoure in hilly area of Zhejiang Province,which is very important to economic construction and social development.In this paper,the main use types and trend of the exploitation and utilization of land resources in hilly area were introduced,and main problems of soil and water conservation in hilly area was analyzed.Some countermeasures for soil and water losses were put forward.
