Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Sorting out the relationship and connotation between digital countryside construction and common prosperity, and analyzing its influence mechanism is a key issue in exploring the promotion of common wealth in the context of the new era.【Method/process】The study analyzes the inner mechanism and heterogeneous characteristics of digital rural construction to pro⁃ mote common wealth through panel data of 30 Chinese provinces from 2012 to 2021.And try to provide specific suggestions for digital rural construction direction through case studies.【Result/conclusion】he construction of digital villages has an important driving role in promoting common prosperity. In terms of driving mechanisms, industrial prosperity has a mediating role in driving common wealth development by digital village construction, effective governance has a moderating role in driving industrial prosperity by digital vil⁃ lage construction, and the results are further supported by case studies. For spatio-temporal heterogeneity characteristics, the study finds that in time the impact of digital village construction on common prosperity has an inverted U-shaped distribution, and in space the impact of digital village construction on common prosperity is significant in the eastern region of China, but there are problems in the central and western regions, such as insufficient driving effect of digital village construction on industrial prosperity and difficulty in the effective regulation effect of governance.【Innovation/limitation】The innovation of this research lies in exploring the relevant mechanism of digital countryside driving common prosperity through effective governance and industrial prosperity, which has certain policy implications for further optimizing the direction of digital countryside construction in the future. The follow-up research can be further deepened from other perspectives such as ecological livability and prosperity.
