Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Informetrics is an important branch of metrology. Revealing its research trends is of great signifi⁃cance to the development and deepening of "Five-metrics"【. Method/process】Using the keywords co-occurrence network and scientif⁃ic knowledge map,this paper reveals the knowledge structure and development trend of informetrics research from the perspective of the articles published in the Journal of informetrics,a representative Journal in the field of informetrics【. Result/conclusion】The cur⁃rent research of informetrics is mainly divided into six topic communities:theory and practice of evaluation indicators,impact of net⁃work indicators on performance,university scientific research performance evaluation,journal influence and interdisciplinary measure⁃ment,citation analysis based on network database and research's social impact measurement,and their knowledge sources are com⁃posed of four knowledge clusters:scholars' research performance evaluation,citation performance evaluation,impact factor optimization,science of science and scientific management.In the future development,the evaluation of university's scientific research performance and citation analysis based on network database will be the focus of informetrics; the social impact measurement of scientific research has the potential to evolve into a branch of metrology【. Innovation/limitation】These conclusions provide a scientific and objective ref⁃erence for the systematic development of informetrics,and also provide ideas for the development of journal.Future research should en⁃rich data and carry out more comprehensive discussion and analysis.
