Abstract: Purpose/significanceThis paper tries to explore the propagation process and evolution patterns of public opinion on COV⁃ID-19 by constructing a public opinion analysis model.and put forward suggestions on public opinion guidance and governance under the background of the normalization of the COVID-19. Method/processBased on the theory of information ecology.this paper analyz⁃ es public opinion events from the three elements including information.informant and information environment.and constructs an analy⁃sis model of public opinion from the perspective of information ecology. This paper conducts an empirical study.taking the shelter hos⁃pital event in COVID-19 as an example and using the methods of topic analysis.social network analysis and sentiment analysis to exca⁃vate the theme development and sentiment evolution of public opinion.and depict the characteristics of public opinion propagation net⁃work.Result/conclusionThe analysis model constructed in this paper can comprehensively depict the response to public opinion events.analyze the propagation rule and evolution trend of public opinion.and excavate the internal correlation of different analysis di⁃mensions. Innovation/limitationFrom the perspective of information ecology.this paper constructs an analysis model of public opinion propagation based on the dimensions of content, user and emotion.Two-mode complex network and knowledge graph will be used to ex⁃plore the deeper association between several public opinion events in the future.
