Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Studying the spatial and temporal evolution of the spatial distribution of scientific papers and re⁃ gional disparities at the national and regional levels is conducive to summarizing their development laws and is of great significance for optimizing the spatial allocation of scientific and technological resources and reducing regional disparities.【Method/process】Tak⁃ ing the CSSCI journal of Library Information and Philology as an example, this paper based on CNKI citation data, uses Gini coeffi⁃ cient, center of gravity, concentration and regression analysis, the spatial distribution of subject papers and the temporal evolution of regional disparities are studied.【Result/conclusion】The research results show that the total number of papers in library information and bibliography has declined in recent years, and the regional distribution is relatively concentrated; The center of gravity of the the⁃ sis shifts to the west but the change from north to south is small; The regional disparity in the number of papers was small in the early days and is now stable; The gap between papers and journals shows a long-term change of "narrowing-enlarging-narrowing"; The dis⁃ parity of dissertation journals has little effect on disparities in dissertation regions.【Innovation/limitation】In this paper, Gini coeffi⁃ cient, concentration degree and gravity center are used to study the spatial distribution of papers for the first time.
