The purpose of this paper is to comb through the closure period of public records and its history and current situation of the related regulations, and point out the current misunderstandings toward the closure period of public records in Britain and restore the real British file close period comes as archives law modification in our country, which can provide some reference and enlightenment to our country, and promote the development of archival undertaking in our country.
